Leon Jaftha

Leon Jaftha - bass player, Leon was born and raised in a small town in South Africa where poverty, racism and prejudice prevailed. At the age of twelve, he committed his life to the Lord. His ability to rise above his circumstances is evident in the fact that at the age of 19, on his own accord, he started a music school for disadvantaged young people.

He is a firm believer in not allowing your circumstances to dictate your destiny. "Jesus can, Just let Him be the One."

Rolf Weichardt

Keyboardist and leader of the pack. After graduating from the University of Cape Town in South Africa, he worked for Youth for Christ for several years. Khanyisa was started whilst working in one of South Africa's biggest squatter camps (ghetto's). During this time Rolf witnessed the intense anger and pain of young black South Africans because of the injustice in their country. Rolf's mission and conviction from onset, simply was to make a difference in bringing different race groups together.

He quote's, "BEHOLD HOW GOOD AND HOW PLEASANT IT IS WHEN BROTHERS DWELL TOGETHER".
